After graduating from the Catholic University of Medicine, He obtained a degree in pediatrics, pediatrics' neurology, and a doctorate in medicine. He served as the 17th and 18th head of Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital at Catholic University, and is currently the chairman of the Korean Pediatric and Youth Science Association, vice chairman of the Korean Society for Developmental Disability Treatment Education, and president of the Korean Brain Education Association. He is a professor of pediatrics at the Catholic University of Korea.

He has appeared on several broadcasts, including KBS 〈Achim Madang - Smart Child Parents〉, EBS 〈60 Minutes Parents〉, SBS 〈Gifted Foundation〉, Story On 〈prodigy’s Secret〉. He has published a series of brain education columns in many newspapers and magazines, and has been receiving great response by delivering essential parenting information to many parents in lectures.
