Overview

Chae-woong and Cho-hee are survivors of the loss of their loved ones. They left themselves in grief. Chae-woong claims to be a pushover who does not refuse his friends' requests, and Cho-hee steals other people's things without hesitation. The more they try to stay away from each other, the more they get involved in strange events. One day, Cho-hee suggests Chae-woong not to be disappointed or hurt no matter what one does to the other person. Even hurting each other in their own way, but on the other hand, they are getting closer...….

〈We’ll be okay〉 unfolds in a way that Chae-woong and Cho-hee look at the same event from each other's point of view. The writer captures the stories of Korean society and universal characters in detail with the eyes of the two main characters. It captivates readers by realistically solving the cruelty of adult society which seems perfect, unprotected youth, discrimination toward difference, and collective violence with morality.

Writer Lim Hawoon melted all of us incompletely into the characters Chae-woong and Cho-hee. The two characters describe the ambivalence of humans who claim to be lonely but want to reach someone. The process of encouraging the two to feel homogeneity and be happy is a message of hope that a miracle that causes life is near us. It is also a consolation and support that the writer gives to the readers.
